...Ski Bunny...

We took the girls to Beaver Mountain last night for a ward party and to let Jada ski for the first time. Both girls had a blast! Brecka was able to play in the snow and Jada loved skiing.

Brecka, ready to run around in the snow!

Jada and Landon, riding the "magic carpet" to go up the bunny hill.

Jada attempting to snow plow. Krystal and Barney...being good fans in the background...

Jada had no fear going down the mountain. She kept saying that she wanted to go faster. She would get mad at me when I would stand in front of her.

Skiing off the magic carpet.

Good sisters. They love to be together!

Landon skiied a couple times with Brecka on his skis or while holding her. On the way home, she said that this was her favorite part!

The girls did so well and were so happy all night. Neither wanted to leave when it was time to go home. I guess we'll try it again next year!

It's A......

BOY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We are having a boy! I think I am still in shock and am not really believing what the ultrasound tech. told us. I have to keep looking back at the pictures where our little baby so proudly shows off his stuff. I think the lady knew we were going to be doubtful because the entire time she kept pointing things out saying, "It's a boy...Yep, he's not being shy...There he is!" And on almost every picture there is a little arrow pointing out his manhood. (Now watch her be wrong!!)
I came home and told the girls. Jada couldn't be happier. She is so excited to have a little brother. Brecka, on the other hand, is not even the littlest bit excited. When I told her, she got the most grumpy look on her face and started backing away from me. "No, I want a little girl!" She just kept shouting at me, "A girl, a girl, I want a baby girl!"
I guess when she was saying her prayers last night, Landon was helping her and he would have her bless the baby boy in moms tummy, and she would say, "Bless the little boy and girl in mom's tummy". Every time he would say boy, she would either add girl or completely change it to girl. She keeps us entertained around here. I guess she has until July to get use to it!!
